Auto Insurance

Phoenix, Arizona Auto Insurance Company

All Arizona motorists are required by state law to carry automobile liability insurance. This law ensures that, if the motorist causes an accident, the victims of the accident can receive compensation for their damages, including property damage, medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering, without having to file a claim with their own insurance company. Under Arizona law, the minimum amount of insurance needed is $15,000 per person and $30,000 per accident for personal injury, and $10,000 for property damage. Despite this law, many people continue to drive or ride motorcycles without insurance. It is estimated that 14% of all drivers in the US do not carry any insurance. If you are struck by one of these drivers while riding your motorcycle in Arizona, you may be stuck holding the bag for your property damage and injuries. Considering the fact that injuries in motorcycle accidents are typically more severe than those in passenger car accidents, the cost of your accident could be financially devastating.

Explanation of COVERAGES

Liability Coverage - If you are responsible for an accident, your insurance company pays your liability for the damages. Bodily Injury Liability pays if you injure someone. Property Damage Liability pays for repairing or replacing property of others you damaged.

Collision Coverage - If you are in an accident and your car is damaged, collision insurance pays for the repairs. When financing a new or used car, the lending institution will generally require this coverage.

Comprehensive Coverage - This coverage is for damage caused by a variety of events that are typically out of your control. For example, you collect on comprehensive insurance if your car is stolen, vandalized, burns, or hits an animal. Comprehensive insurance also pays for repairing or replacing vehicle windows.

Uninsured Motorist (UM) Coverage - If the other driver is at fault for an accident, Uninsured Motorist coverage protects you and your family if injured by a hit-and-run motorist or a driver who has not purchased liability insurance.

Underinsured Motorist (UIM) Coverage - If the other driver is at fault for an accident, Underinsured Motorist coverage protects you and your family up to your coverage limits if the at-fault driver does not have enough liability protection to pay for your injuries.

Medical Coverage - If you or your passengers are injured in an accident, medical coverage pays for hospital, doctor, and other medical bills regardless of who caused the accident.

Rental Car Coverage - This coverage can be used to pay for a rental car when your vehicle is damaged and inoperable for a specified period of time.

Towing Coverage - This coverage pays for towing expenses when your car is damaged or disabled.
